Tour to Budapest, September 2015

Day Two, 110km

Suz outside our hotel in Gabcikovo, the next morning.

Sitting pretty at 28km/hr - where we had very smooth, straight bitumen on top of the levee and with a nice tailwind. Good times. However, later in the day we also had lots of gravel where our speed drops to half of this.

Now, not sure. Wanting a coffee. A small nearby town perhaps?

Maybe just keep going?

Much, much later. Some snacks besides a quite part of the river.

Hungary, at last! This is the Maria Valeria Bridge to Esztergom which was only rebuilt 2001. It connects Slovakia to Hungry. The massive Esztergom Basilica had been visible on the horizon for the past hour or so. The hotel suggested a nice resturant we had passed on the way in, so, ok. It is only when we are looking at menu that we realise that the Hungarians do not use Euros . . . Not a real problem but it could have been.

Day Three, 90km
